The European Biomass Industry Association was established in 1996 as an international based in Brussels, Belgium. It groups together market forces, technology providers, and knowledge centres in the field of biomass. Located in the Renewable Energy House in Brussels, its main objective is to support the European biomass industries at all levels, promoting the use of biomass as an energy source, developing innovative bioenergy concepts and fostering international co-operation.

The Center offers services and enhancements that provide value-added ag businesses with a means to plan, develop, and promote their businesses through experienced technical assistance. The Society of Independent Gasoline Marketers of America (SIGMA) is the premier U.S. trade association representing independent chain retailers and marketers of motor fuel. SIGMA's mission is to benefit members by helping them improve their ability to succeed in a free and fully competitive market for transportation fuels. Its Alternate Fuels Task Force will act as a forum for marketers to discuss issues with the retailing of ethanol blends, including E-85, and biodiesel blends.
